launching black feminism

I’ve been wanting to launch this blog on the contemporary state of black feminism for a long time. This fall I’ll be teaching a graduate course in black feminism for the first time and thought this would be an opportune moment use the blogosphere to connect with other feminist websites and to feature black feminist artists, writers, and scholars. I’d like to include writing from other black feminist scholars on this blog and to see if I can coerce some of my grad students to post their reflections as well.
